Business Development Representative

Summary
In this exciting newly created career opportunity, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying, qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with decision makers to increase INNOVA Fibre Cement products and systems share of the market demand.
You will represent the INNOVA brand and sell the full range of products and systems to “VIC” largest residential builders and contractors. Working closely with our dedicated INNOVA sales, technical and specification teams to increase sales, brand awareness, and profit via our established merchant channel.
What you'll do
• Achieving set sales targets while driving profitable business growth
• Representing INNOVA’s diverse range of products and promoting these offerings to residential builders
• Increasing the use of INNOVA fibre cement with large residential detached and townhouses builders in their projects
• Utilising CRM to track and update sales activities, aiming to meet periodic KPIs
• Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts through regular contact with customers
• Developing new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers
• Formulating and implementing strategies for account management, market development, and technical support
• Delivering engaging client presentations and product training to both large and small groups
• Leveraging CRM to update sales activities, manage quotations, and oversee the customer opportunity pipeline
• Reviewing and analysing customer sales revenue to identify market trends, both positive and negative, and implementing strategies to address any challenges effectively
What you'll bring
• Experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Account Manager
• Demonstrated success in business development within the building and construction sector, particularly with large residential builders, is appreciated, while fresh ideas and enthusiasm from recent graduates are equally valued
• A trade qualification or a tertiary degree in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field is an advantage, but we also encourage applications from those with relevant experience or a passion for the industry
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Current drivers licence
