Join us as Supply Chain Manager based in Italy!


The purpose of the position is to lead change management and the Supply Chain transformation within Italy. Contribute to identify best practices & ensure compliance to policies, standards and governance of SC processes aligned with One Etex SC.
 

What you'll do

  • Drive the safety culture and performance in Warehousing & Logistics area.
  • Coordinate the budget/forecasts construction and strategy for Italy from a Supply Chain perspective to contribute to Italy performance. Monitor performance vs objectives, use root cause analysis and CI plan approach to drive performance improvements in SC. 
  • Manage and publish performance through appropriate supply chain metrics (e.g. inventory turns, Logistics Costs, Inventory accuracy vs. targets) for Italy.
  • Contribute to & coordinate the deployment and continuous improvement of planning & execution of material and information flow processes and efficient utilization of available capacities and resources, in order to meet customer demand, enhance material flow and optimize inventory (stocking points, distribution strategy).
  • Consolidate & Coordinate where applicable Logistics initiatives with 3rd Parties to simplify flows and reduce costs.
  • Lead, animate, motivate, coach and develop team members.
  • Set challenging and achievable goals.
  • Communicate strategy, manage execution of road map to excellence to his/her team and facilitate benchmark and skills leveraging by sharing best practices within the subgroup and with other subgroups.
     

What you'll bring

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
•    Bachelor’s degree (desired)
•    APICS CPIM certified or equivalent (desired)
•    Proficient with ERP Planning, Material Scheduling, Distribution, Warehousing functionality 
•    Planning Role in manufacturing environment
•    Site/Warehouse SC Manager experience (minimum 3 years)
•    Experience in MRP site Implementation, significant transformation/change management projects
•    Knowledge of English enabling communication in speech and writing
