The  Industrial Project Engineer will manage industrial projects related to Safety of Machineries in the factory, from the conceptual process design through detailed engineering to the execution and start-up.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver the projects in scope, budget and quality, with a strong focus on Safety
  • Define project execution strategy
  • Issue the specifications according to customer requirement, analyse suppliers offers, participate to the supplier selection and contracts preparation in close coordination with Purchasing Team
  • Assess and study the different technical scenarios to define the most appropriate one.
  • Bring engineering expertise when needed to minimize risks and ensure safe design. Checks compliance to established procedures or protocols, and challenges
  • Involves suppliers and plant team in detail engineering phases, safety design, factory acceptance tests, commissioning, final acceptance tests.
  • Prepare steering committees for assigned projects
  • Follow the construction on site with strong focus for EHS. 
  • Ensure efficient project control and reporting, and takes corrective actions
  • Ensure (technical and managerial) coordination and communication among the project stakeholders

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Mechanical engineering knowledge/background
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience with CAD
  • Project Management experience
  • Health and Safety knowledge
