Lead Development Representative

You will be mainly responsible for building sales pipelines by prospecting new opportunities, qualifying leads, therefore providing focus for the sales team and our distributors. You will support the company to find new business opportunities, retain current ones, and develop innovative solutions for promoting our materials and services. You will act as a strong support for the marketing and sales team, contributing to a successful implementation of our new CRM system with Salesforce.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Identify opportunities, qualify leads and contact inbound and outbound qualified leads with a strong professional approach. Document, track and monitor all leads and activities in CRM tool, Salesforce.
  • Acquire in depth knowledge of our materials and deliver that knowledge to prospects. The LDR is one of the first lines of contact in the customer journey and must be able to communicate our value proposition, answer customer queries and have strong sales skills.
  • Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
  • Initiate the entire sales process, from the original call through to account set-up in Salesforce, where necessary, for each lead.
  • Redirect the large projects and high priority stakeholders (technical consulting, specifications, seminars, joint meetings with all stakeholders) to the sales team.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to achieve sales objectives. Together with Marketing, the LDR will support marketing campaigns to nurture valuable leads, as well as other marketing tasks to increase brand awareness.
  • Follow up with prospects who responded to marketing campaigns, including supporting sample fulfilment.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Operational experience within a sales and/or marketing environment - lead development, tele-prospecting or call centre experience
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload with strong attention to detail
