Production Supervisor (Metal Forming)

You will lead the Metal Forming Operations area and be accountable for the Safe and efficient running of the processes, ensuring the manufacture of only the highest quality products for our customers.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, devise and implement KPIs for the area in conjunction with the team and the Manufacturing / Plant Managers.  
  • Completion of daily, weekly and monthly figures and spreadsheets for the operation.
  • Ensure CPM rituals are in place and being adhered to / developed further in line with site and group requirements.
  • Lead periodic meetings in MF, focusing on Safety, the Customer, Costs and 5S. Responsible for addressing issues that arise under these headings on a daily, weekly, and periodic basis.
  • Drive continuous improvement processes for safety, quality, productivity, and workplace organisation.
  • Lead the weekly MTO (Make to Order) meeting for MF and Loading Areasd and supervise the operations area in Metal Forming, toward achieving area KPIs

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment
  • A track record in implementing change and influencing teams
  • Experience in Managing Budgets and understanding of financial data
  • Good mechanical / electrical knowledge and experience of machinery and processes
