What you’ll do:

  • Maintain and develop Etex Ireland’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring full legal compliance and high-quality standards across both fibre cement and metal manufacturing plants.
  • Ensure all products are fit for purpose, meet customer expectations, and minimise product performance claims.
  • Lead environmental, sustainability, and energy efficiency initiatives, driving compliance with Group targets and roadmaps.
  • Represent the plant at Group Quality meetings, sharing knowledge, benchmarking performance, and supporting continuous improvement.
  • Deliver on Group KPIs and goals outlined in the 3-Year Master Plan, Weekly, and Monthly Scorecards for Quality & Sustainability.
  • Contribute to operations initiatives such as cost deployment, energy and safety Kaizen events, and CPM programs.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA landfill licence requirements and Kildare County Council effluent discharge licence conditions.
  • Act as an expert witness in Court or mediation cases when requested by the Etex Ireland Legal Team.
  • Participate in European product standards development through active involvement in CEN Committees.

  • In depth knowledge of the requirements of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards
  • Ability to lead external audits on ISO and BES standards.
  • Ability to implement change to improve product quality
