Join us as a CapEx Lead Buyer to help us shape our purchasing strategies for capital expenditure projects across multiple divisions worldwide.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the entire purchasing process within projects, from technical clarification to contract negotiation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements and establish purchasing plans.

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for infrastructure development, equipment purchases, and facility expansions.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers, focusing on achieving optimal terms and mitigating risks.

  • Develop and execute procurement plans, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines

  • Prioritize sustainability and ethical sourcing, contributing significantly to our organization's sustainability goals.

  • Develop and maintain expertise in the supply market, including suppliers, price trends, cost drivers, acquisitions, and disposals.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Capex purchasing within an industrial setting.

  • Ability to analyse market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and make data-driven sourcing decisions.

  • Familiarity with SAP, Ariba, XL, and PowerBI is advantageous.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Master's degree in engineering, business or purchasing.

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English and French is essential.
