The Segment Manager is responsible for managing targeted customer relationship and business strategies for the targeted accounts in his segment. He is also responsible for leading the whole specification process for all PROMAT segments in his customer portfolio.

Key Responsibility Area:

-             Segment manager in relation with internal global team

-             Local segment leadership (marketing and sales support)

-             Ownership of the relation with the key external stakeholders in his segment

What you'll do

Business and Commercial Management

  • Creates and executes account sales plans in support of business segment strategy
  • Sells the organization’s products/systems/solutions to achieve the sales goals
  • Drives growth by expanding existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers
  • Develops a full understanding of the competition
  • Act as a champion for the voice of the customer
  • Uses SaleForce to share and use knowledge and follow-up customers and projects

Financial Management

  • Is responsible for the implementation of the agreed annual budget and price/margin management in the assigned area under the supervision of the Regional Manager

Staff and organization Development

  • Is a team player working closely with colleagues and exchanging best practices
  • Develop valuable collaboration with CX, TX, PM and function

Revenue Responsibility

  • Has a revenue responsibility of 13 mill € for Ducting/ 4,5 mill € for Compartmentation / 3,5 mill € for Structural Protection/

What you'll bring

> 10 yrs B2B sales experience, preferably in a technical/engineering environment

Fluency in English, both verbally and in written 

Fluency in local country language

 

Key competencies

  • Proven track record as sales rep within the marketplace and able to demonstrate ability to network and build relationships
  • Experience in pipeline management and project follow-up via a CRM tool (ideally salesforce)
  • Be a real team player working closely with colleagues (ITC) and exchanging best practices
  • Be an expert in your field with a winner’s mentality
  • Ability to understand and act on financial information
  • Ability to build trust and create valuable relationships with customers
  • Solution based selling – closing deals
  • Key account management skills - Building relationships – Negotiation - Contract management
