What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of five strategic buyers to oversee procurement activities across five divisions in France.
  • Oversee spend of approximately 400M€, ensuring effective cost optimization and value delivery.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, including direct responsibility for key strategic supplier relationships.
  • Drive high-stakes procurement projects while enabling the team to manage operational supplier and contract activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support business objectives.
  • Ensure procurement processes are effective, standardized, and aligned with both local and EMEA/global practices.
  • Operate successfully in a matrix environment, managing competing priorities and building credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to EMEA/global procurement strategy, supporting alignment and process harmonization across regions.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • A relevant university degree.
  • Significant procurement/supply chain experience.
  • Experience managing a team of procurement professionals.
  • Contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • Experience with strategic sourcing and category management.
  • Cross functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with Ariba and SAP.
  • Supplier risk management and performance evaluation capabilities.
