The Business Development Manager will be critical in implementing the URSA commercial strategy. This position will maintain accounts and grow sales within the Midland region working with a combination of existing distributers and merchants while developing relationships with new ones.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships with Distributors and Merchants, helping to nurture and grow the business with these key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a portfolio of key accounts and promote and secure orders from existing and prospective customers.
  • Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to pricing, securing and eventually to site.
  • Plan journeys and customer calls to achieve optimum use of time.
  • Maintain and improve our own industry knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and maximise our sales opportunities.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Similar experience in a role with account management responsibilities within the construction market.

  • A proven history of personal sales account growth whilst contributing to overall team success is essential.
  • A track record of efficient and profitable account management.
  • Self-sufficient & self-motivated who can also work well within a team.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting and interfacing with a variety of clients.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft packages and CRM systems.
