Cost Analyst

What you’ll do:

Support the Plant BP in financial reviews, helping drive cost control and performance improvement through strong business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete plant month-end close on time
  • Run production variance settlements in ERP
  • Post accruals and prepayments accurately
  • Review monthly forecasts and challenge variances
  • Provide clear, timely reporting to stakeholders
  • Present IPC and overheads at finance reviews
  • Share RM and open PO reports with Engineering
  • Ensure open POs are justified and receipted promptly
  • Distribute overtime and environmental reports
  • Support production reporting and management packs
  • Assist with PCO analysis and divisional presentations
  • Run costing updates and monthly actual costing
  • Ensure work orders are accurate and closed on time
  • Prevent and resolve month-end WIP issues

What you’ll bring:

  • You will have an interest in manufacturing finance
  • You will be able to commute to the Bristol Plant
  • You can demonstrate that you are proficient in the use of computer systems/Microsoft Packages, with strong Excel skills
  • You will be able to work at a fast pace, meeting tight deadlines
  • You will be able to develop strong working relationships
  • You will have strong communication skills
  • ACA / ACCA/ CIMA - Fully / Part qualified
