What you’ll do:
The Day Electrical Engineer will play a huge part in delivering reliable performance for our plant, through high quality preventative work, PM, and routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality standards.
- Maintenance of machinery and equipment to meet customer and reliability requirements and maintaining equipment in the Workshop.
- Site maintenance electrical preventative maintenance duties.
- Working on PLC & AC/DC drive controllers carrying out routine maintenance
- Undertaking PM tasks utilising skills and experience to identify opportunities for improvement
- Project involvement including assisting the project team to achieve the required outcome
- Creating and completing accurate records and logs of maintenance activities in the business CMMS
- Participating in RCA sessions such as the EWO process
- LV Isolations and Maintenance
- Undertaking basic CBM inspections
- Working with the production and quality operations teams to optimise plant parameters to exceed BP, ME and OEE Metrics
- To carry out any reasonable request as instructed by a senior member of the management team
What you’ll bring:
- GCSE grade A-C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Recognised Apprenticeship to NVQ Lv3 or Above
- 18th Edition Wiring
- SAP PM
- IPAF
- Working at Height
- Experience in a frontline maintenance role in a 24/7 FMCG Facility
- Experience of new installations, and working to drawings and diagrams
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a wider team
It would be an advantage, but is not essential, if you also have:
- Qualification in PLC Programming/Coding
- Experience in hydraulics pneumatics
- Experience in Gas
- Experience in Alan Bradley PLC’s
- Excellent process knowledge of Plasterboard Manufacturing Plants
