The Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Technician is critical in providing 24/7 engineering support for all EC&I maintenance activities, inclusive of both preventative maintenance and reactive tasks.

Hourly Rate: £21.40 + shift premium


What you’ll do:

  • Support all aspects of electrical engineering, to include preventative and routine maintenance of all plant machinery, 3 phase electrical equipment, and PLC/automation.
  • Attend to unscheduled/emergency maintenance situations with urgency and precision.
  • Improve system reliability through preventative maintenance checks.
  • Carry out any ad hoc electrical maintenance or projects.
     

What you’ll bring:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification, a completed electrical apprenticeship, or demonstrable relevant experience within an Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Automation or PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
  • Understanding of BS 7671 Electrical Regulations.
