Join us as Head of People Operations to lead HR services across all Etex businesses within the UK and Ireland. Reporting to a Regional Head of HR South West Europe & Africa, you will play a crucial role in shaping our people agenda, driving best-in-class HR practices and supporting the achievement of our company’s strategic ambitions.
What You Will Do
- Lead and deliver consistent and professional HR services across all businesses, aligned with Group initiatives and local legislation
- Ensure a stable and capable workforce by driving talent management, learning and development, and employee engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with Divisional HR Business Partners to support organisational development and business transformation
- Manage, develop and coach a team of HR professionals, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Build and maintain positive labour and employee relations, proactively managing industrial relations and negotiations with unions and Works Councils
- Oversee HR systems, and external service provider agreements, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
- Drive performance management processes and support the annual HR cycle, including budgeting, workforce planning and performance reviews
- Lead HR operational support for acquisitions, divestitures and other transformation projects
- Ensure accurate HR data management and reporting, providing insights to inform decision-making
- Implement continuous improvements in HR processes, policies, and systems to optimise service delivery
What You Will Bring
- A proven experience in a senior HR generalist role, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership and people management experience with the ability to develop and inspire teams
- Strong understanding of employment law and labour relations
- Experience managing HR operations and HR systems within a multi-site environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to deliver pragmatic HR solutions aligned to business needs
