6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hourly Rate: £13.48 + shift premium


 

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for day-to-day analysis and consequent actions aiming to improve process stability.
  • Work with the team (Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Engineering) to ensure all products are produced to the defined specifications.
  • Perform regular housekeeping activities to ensure longevity of equipment, including listening and performing visual checks so that any abnormal issues are detected and addressed and report equipment failure.
  • Offload palettes, replenish raw materials, refill carriages, and minimise sources of waste during routine tasks.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Relevant work experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Good understanding of computer systems such as SAP
  • Positive outlook with a can-do attitude
  • Approachable and able to work in a team or be self-motivated to work alone


It would be an advantage if you also have:

  • Quality testing and system experience
  • Operational excellence (continuous improvement – white belt training)
  • Experience of shift work including working nights and 12-hour shifts
  • NVQ level 2 Manufacturing Operations
  • FLT Counterbalance license
