The Supplier Compliance Lead will play a vital role in ensuring supplier compliance and quality assurance. This role would be suited to a detail-oriented professional from a quality or compliance background within the manufacturing industry.

If you’re passionate about maintaining high standards and driving continuous improvement, this is your chance to make a real impact while managing a key compliance database and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Conduct preliminary checks, warehouse spot checks, and supplier audits.
  • Perform internal testing, report findings, and manage external testing as needed.
  • Handle 3rd-party customer complaints, produce reports, and collaborate with suppliers on root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Follow up on supplier compliance issues to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a comprehensive Supplier Compliance database.
  • Plan and conduct supplier audits per the Supplier Audit Schedule, integrating ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
  • Manage audit reports and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Warehouse Spot Checks:
  • Conduct stock spot checks across warehouse locations based on business needs, risk, and criticality.
  • Follow up with testing, reports, and resolution management.
  • Training & Development:
  • Provide training and guidance to key compliance team members.
  • Testing Management:
  • Develop in-house testing for critical suppliers following industry standards.
  • Manage in-house and external testing databases, escalating any out-of-spec results.
