We’re looking for a skilled supply chain professional with proven expertise in production planning and inventory management. If you’re a proactive planner who thrives on problem-solving and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels and site capacity.
  • Ensure inventory is optimised and maintained within agreed thresholds, managing fluctuations in demand and supply effectively.
  • Adjust and communicate production plans proactively in response to operational challenges or unforeseen issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing and Quality teams to ensure alignment across operations.
  • Utilise ERP/MRP systems (including SAP) to manage and monitor production schedules and inventory.
  • Support forecasting and capacity planning activities.
  • Manage slow-moving and obsolete stock, analysing usage and driving corrective actions to minimise waste.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement through KPIs such as inventory turnover, supplier performance, and stock availability.
  • Actively support Health & Safety and Quality standards, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe workplace.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven expertise in production scheduling, supply planning and inventory control.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and multi-site supply chain environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP ERP and MRP-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management techniques including safety stock and optimisation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • A resilient, proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
