Join our technical team in Bristol, where you'll build your skills through hands-on training, job shadowing and e-learning, with strong support for your development along the way. This is a hybrid role, working from the office Tuesday to Thursday, with core hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and no travel required outside of training. The team is currently in a strong technical position, offering plenty of scope to grow.

What you'll do

  • Answer technical questions from architects, installers and suppliers by phone and email.
  • Produce technical drawings for systems and site conditions using CAD software.
  • Check project packs and work with the external specification team.
  • Work cross-functionally across the wider business.
  • Learn our systems and products, including what they can and can't achieve from a fire perspective.
  • Work with acoustics, thermal performance and pipe calculations, and system strength.
  • Develop your knowledge across our product range as part of your ongoing training.

What you'll bring

  • CAD experience.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and plan well.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A keen willingness to learn.
  • Clear communicator in English, with the ability to translate technical detail into plain language.
  • A construction, civil or mechanical engineering background is desirable.
  • Product design or design work experience is desirable.
  • A background in fire stopping or passive fire protection is desirable.
  • An analytical, practical approach is desirable.
  • Experience in an administrative, office, customer service or site-based role with some technical knowledge of construction materials is desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings is desirable.
