Join us as Technical Director UK & Ireland to lead our UK technical function across our Promat and Siniat brand. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for regulatory compliance, system integrity, team development and strategic technical direction.

Reporting to the Country Manager, you will play a key role in driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence across the business to support our ongoing commitment to quality and performance.

 

What You Will Do

  • Lead the technical strategy and operational delivery across the full lifecycle of Etex drywall systems in the UK & Ireland
  • Ensure all products and systems meet regulatory requirements and performance standards, embedding robust compliance processes across the business
  • Guide and develop a high-performing technical team across development, service, site support, and competence
  • Serve as the senior technical representative for Etex Building Performance in key industry forums, trade bodies and technical working groups
  • Promote technical consistency and high standards across commercial, operational and manufacturing functions
  • Collaborate with other Etex UK businesses to design and optimise system solutions using the full range of Etex products
  • Support the long-term technical evolution of the drywall sector in line with Etex’s focus on innovation, sustainability and customer value
  • Maintain strong engagement across national sites, with a regular presence in Bristol and travel as required to support teams and stakeholders

 

What You Will Bring

  • Extensive experience in the construction product manufacturing sector with a deep understanding of drywall systems and their application
  • Strong grasp of UK construction regulations, testing and certification frameworks and system design best practice
  • Experience managing technical risk, compliance processes, and technical claims
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence at all levels and represent the business externally
  • A Degree in a relevant technical discipline such as architecture, engineering, construction or materials science
  • Willing and able to travel regularly across the UK, with a consistent presence in Bristol
