Drywall Site Technician

You will be responsible for promoting and supporting on site system compliancy for all Etex BP Framework Partner specifications. As part of your role, you will be required to travel to sites across the Midlands and the North, providing technical support and advice on the installation of Siniat products.

 

What you’ll do:

  • To provide ongoing technical support for Etex BP projects advising and answering technical enquiries as necessary to support the project requirements.
  • To provide practical training on Etex BP products and systems to Etex BP's customer base as required.
  • To attend site to investigate and report on product failure and advise on remedial action where necessary.
  • To provide internal practical training and advice to colleagues as and when required.
  • Deliver Toolbox talks to sites as requested, showing correct installation of Siniat materials and high-light main differences on the Siniat systems
  • Make recommendations and confirm in writing via site visit report
  • To assist with on-going training of colleagues on our project management processes, and the use of CRM

 

What you’ll bring:

  • The ideal candidate for this role would be an organised, pro-active, computer literate person with an inherent determination, and who is confident contacting a diverse customer base.
  • The candidate should have a good knowledge of drywall systems and site working practices and ideally come from a practical site-based background.
  • You will have an understanding of how building contracts work, and the different approach required for each; Design & Build, Traditional, Procure 21, CLAW, partnering agreements, and envelope schemes.
  • Experience of using main Microsoft Office applications
