We’re looking for five General Operatives to join our growing team at our factory in Cahir, Ireland. Tipperary. This is a hands-on, physical role where you’ll be working on the factory floor assembling structural panels and insulation systems as part of a close-knit, supportive team. The role is fully on-site, and no prior experience is required – full training is provided. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 5pm, and Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm, with optional overtime available on Saturdays and bank holidays.
What you’ll do:
- Assemble structural panels and insulation systems following technical drawings and work instructions.
- Work across assembly, cassette, insulation, and roll former sections as required.
- Use hand and power tools safely, including rivet guns and drills, in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Carry out daily equipment checks and complete timing and quality sheets accurately.
- Work closely with your team to maintain clear communication and a smooth production flow.
- Always follow all health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE, and report any hazards, incidents, or machine faults promptly.
What you’ll bring:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent secondary education.
- Good teamwork, communication, reliability, and punctuality.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
- Proficient in reading and understanding English.
- A Manual Handling certificate is essential.
- Experience in a construction, manufacturing, or workshop environment is an advantage but not required.
