What You'll Do:

• Gather information about the required materials and services through factory employees and managers.
• Contact and select suppliers.
• Negotiate prices and conditions.
• Communicate the agreed conditions to purchasing staff for further follow-up.
• Build a good relationship with suppliers for long-term cooperation.
• Proactively search for alternatives and improvements to achieve the most beneficial situation.
• Question and renegotiate the contracts.
• Search for synergies across 2 sites in the Netherlands, in close collaboration with the purchasing team, internal contacts and the global Etex Purchasing community.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or economics.
• Strong commercial attitude.
• Strong negotiating skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
• Planning and organizing skills (determining priorities).
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid set up – few days in factories, few days from home.
