Continuous Improvement Engineer

Summary
We're looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Hazelmere manufacturing site and help shape the future of operational excellence across our Australian business. As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you'll influence the way we work by embedding Lean Manufacturing principles, coaching leaders, driving cultural change and delivering sustainable improvements across safety, quality, productivity and cost.
What you'll do
- Lead the site's Continuous Improvement strategy and annual roadmap
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and Continuous Performance Management
- Coach leaders and frontline teams to build Continuous Improvement capability
- Facilitate problem-solving workshops using Lean and Root Cause Analysis methodologies
- Lead improvement projects that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Drive productivity, waste reduction and cost-saving initiatives
- Develop visual management systems and support effective daily performance routines
- Coordinate the site's Operational Excellence and Factory of Tomorrow initiatives
- Work closely with regional and global Continuous Improvement teams to share best practice
What you'll bring
You're a passionate Continuous Improvement professional who enjoys influencing people just as much as improving processes.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- At least five years' experience in Continuous Improvement within manufacturing or industrial operations
- Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent Continuous Improvement qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen and Operational Excellence methodologies
- Experience leading organisational change and coaching cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- A collaborative leadership style and passion for developing others
