You will play a crucial role in ensuring operational safety, managing and developing teams while optimising efficiencies.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Ensuring that the Company’s Safety policy and procedures are adhered to and are communicated to the workforce effectively
  • Ensure safety levels are optimal and good housekeeping practices are applied in the factory
  • Maintaining lagging and leading indicators, latest accidents, Safe start management, implementing standards, and addressing HIRA high priority items
  • Organizing and controlling the production facility to produce at the correct quality and cost at the correct time
  • Developing and motivating production staff to achieve agreed objectives regarding efficiency, quality, industrial standards, health, and safety
  • Ensuring plant performance OEE targets are adhered to
  • Reviewing and analysing production, and quality data to determine causes of non-conformity by using internal CI tools (R-EWO, QP-EWO, HERCA and A3)
  • Ensuring that the correct Quality standards are complied with
  • Taking appropriate action to ensure regularity of product quality and compliance with specifications and standards, at the best cost

What you’ll bring

  • Engineering degree, preferably a Master’s degree
  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing organization or maintenance management
  • Strong customer focus and performance-driven approach
  • Strong technical background
  • Computer literate (Microsoft package, SAP, HR systems)
  • Guide and inspire the factory team to work towards achieving the company's goals
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
