Ehs Officer Karawang

Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT. Etex Building Performance Indonesia as an EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Officer. In this fulltime role, you will be based in Karawang West Java and will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental protection across the company's operations.

What you'll do

• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and standards
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate risks
• Providing training and guidance to employees on health, safety and environmental best practices
• Investigating incidents and accidents, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting on key health, safety and environmental performance indicators
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organisation 
• Conduct daily factory safety inspection & 5S audit for hazard identification and to prevent accident & incident occurrences
• Supervise and back-up nurses in performing first aid treatment to workers if there any accident happen 
• Manage and conduct regular EHS equipment inspection including fire hydrants, fire extinguishers, smoke detector, sprinklers, etc.
• Coordinate with Technical Department in following up the waste management within factory (domestic and industrial waste)
• Manage and support EHS specific project and improvement at the company
• Actively manage the implementation of PT. Etex Building Performance Indonesia Karawang Plant ISO management systems and procedures, by organizing the regular internal audits.
• Ensure that the Company is working according to the ISO certifications and management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
• Conduct & control the implementation of corrective actions revealed from regular internal-external ISO and OHSAS audit that have a relation to the EHS  Policy in the company

What you'll bring

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an EHS Officer or in a similar role within the multinational manufacture industry
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and influence employees at all levels
• Proven problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
• Proficiency in using relevant software and data management tools
