What You'll Do:

  • Act as lead data engineer, owning the delivery of analytical solutions within the functional domain he/ she is assigned to.
  • Engage with a variety of stakeholders to ensure the requirements are clear and to validate their products.
  • Understand data platforms architectures and which data models apply where and why.
  • Master the general principles of building data flows that fit to the data logistics architecture that has been put in place.
  • Design and develop fit for purpose data flows (ingestion/acquisition, integration and access) based on the requirements and analysis received.
  • Strive for re-usability of the data flows and data models being developed.
  • Improves performance of the data loads.
  • Test the data model (s)he developed.
  • Apply and understand CI/CD principles (version control and deployments).
  • Peer review of the self-service data product build by the Data Key User or data products build by other data engineers.
  • Act as a lead data engineer and drive the sharing of knowledge and adoption of best practices amongst other data engineers.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure technology stack (ADF, Synapse, DataBricks, CI-CD), with a proven track record of successful implementations.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively inspire and coach other data engineers.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and intercultural skills.
  • Critical and analytical thinking.
  • Proactive approach.
