We’re looking for a strategic leader to shape and elevate transport and warehouse excellence across a complex global network with the main focus in Europe. This is a newly created, central role operating through influence partnering with local Supply Chain Managers to drive optimisation, cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

 

What You’ll Lead

  • Define the global logistics excellence strategy across transport and warehousing.
  • Partner with local Supply Chain Managers to identify optimisation and cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Lead transportation tenders, including process design and supplier selection.
  • Oversee and challenge logistics processes across 12  warehouse sites.
  • Drive strategic initiatives such as network optimization, automation, sustainability, and digital transformation of logistics flows
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on logistics capabilities, risks, and investment opportunities
  • Lead global performance reviews, build warehouse & logistics KPIs and define continuous improvement programs
  • Contribute to transformation projects, including SAP‑related improvements.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience in logistics within multinational, matrixed environments.
  • Deep expertise in global transport and warehouse operations.
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑regional initiatives without direct line authority.
  • Strong process and system design capabilities and highly analytical, data‑driven mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages welcome.
