Head of Planning - Fibre Cement Division

This newly created role will lead the standardisation of planning processes across multiple countries and drive the development of a mature and fully integrated S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) framework. Operating in a complex, international environment, the role will ensure alignment between demand, production and business performance across all divisions and markets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and standardise end-to-end planning processes covering raw materials, production, and sales operations
  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of S&OP processes across all factories and markets
  • Lead the Divisional S&OP process, ensuring clear scenarios and recommendations are provided to support Executive decision-making
  • Coordinate and follow up on the execution of S&OP and S&OE plans through local teams, ensuring robust follow-through and accountability
  • Build strong internal flows and integration between plants
  • Create market segments and adapt planning models to support the organisation’s evolving footprint and growth strategy
  • Develop a collaborative planning community across geographies, sharing best practice and fostering capability

 

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in an international industrial or supply chain environment
  • Strong background in planning, supply chain, or procurement; experience as a Supply Chain Manager is advantageous
  • Demonstrated success leading change in transformational environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across cultures and senior stakeholders
  • SAP expertise essential (non-negotiable)
  • APICS certification required
  • Fluent in English with French, Dutch and/or German advantageous
  • Ideally, experience in people management
  • Strong personal presence and autonomy in an international context
  • Willingness to travel when required
