What You'll Do:
- Contribute to define, setup and execute the R&D sustainability roadmap in close collaboration with product platform teams, operations and CSR. Success is measured based on strategic product launches/services on time as well as progress (on time delivery of key deliverables) in priority programs and projects.
- Be accountable for the operating budget, it’s follow up and investment implementation.
- Lead by example in impeccable safety standards and foster a safety culture. Ensure proper safety KPIs (Safety intensity, closure of near misses) are reached.
- Manage and develop a multi-site and multi-disciplinary team (ca. 8-10 people) of (senior) experts, project managers in the fields of project and performance management, sustainability and open innovation. Key success is measured by employee engagement surveys.
- Support and contribute to grow the innovation ratio (commercial performance of new products, systems and/or services) in turnover, predominantly through value proposition linked to sustainability, using open innovation to unlock ambition and innovation process efficiency by training, tools and guidelines.
What You'll Bring:
- A higher degree (Master/PhD), preferably in a technical field.
- Several years of experience in similar role, ideally in construction industry.
- Advanced people management and project management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
