About the role :

We are seeking a talented Inside Sales architectural representative to reinforce and expand our architectural business (Equitone and Cedral brand) in Central and South East-Europe. Working with our local partners/distributors on a daily basis, you will be supported by an export team specialized in sales, marketing, technical and logistics to succeed in your mission. 

This is a very exciting opportunity for an energetic, experienced person who is thrilled by the opportunity of joining a strong team in charge of developing a leading brand with architects.  

As this is an Inside Sales role, you are expected to conduct the vast majority of your interactions via calls, videocalls and emails.  

Your mission :

  • Create a strong network with leading members of the architectural community in your region,
  • Follow up marketing-generated leads from architects with effective advice,
  • Convert leads into projects by leading architects using the EQUITONE sales playbook,
  • Assure projects specified advance to the installation stage by actively managing and servicing your network of partner distributors,
  • Daily/Weekly follow ups with your partner distributors to effectively build and manage your pipeline (calls, emails, meetings and online presentations),
  • Develop high level relationships with our local partner distributors/ambassadors,
  • Use internal CRM to document all customer opportunities and customer activity,
  • Attend pipeline reviews and sales meetings,

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of specification and sales experience in the architect or construction materials community, representing design-oriented or key building brands
  • Prior working experience with inside sales model and passion for architecture and design
  • Ability to work autonomously in a productive and cheerfully positive way, but also a team player
  • Ability to succeed in developing trustworthy commercial relations with very limited face-to-face interations with external parties by effectively using emails, calls and videocalls as your main way of communication
  • High level of discipline, self-motivation, drive and structured way of working
  • Must have patience and tenacity to nurture and follow up leads from the specification stage to the finished project

Functional Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven ability and discipline to use CRM system effectively
  • Willingness to learn basic technical aspects of architectural façade design and installation
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written
  • Strong presentation and excel skills 

Geographical Context and Travel Requirements

  • Based in Belgium
  • Initially responsible for 10 countries in Central and South East-Europe, coached and supported by the Export Sales Manager you are reporting to.
