What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and manage the maintenance team, including internal and external staff, ensuring effective performance, development, accountability, and collaboration across departments.
- Drive continuous improvement within the maintenance department, shaping both the short‑ and long‑term vision and ensuring alignment with safety, quality, productivity, and budget expectations.
- Initiate, manage, and oversee curative and preventive maintenance for all production installations and site infrastructure to ensure planned production capacity and operational reliability.
- Develop, coordinate, and follow up on improvement and automation projects, incorporating stakeholder feedback, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Manage and optimize maintenance planning, including daily review of maintenance activities, setting priorities, adjusting schedules, and establishing long‑term maintenance strategies.
- Ensure strong HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) performance, proactively minimizing safety risks associated with maintenance activities.
- Manage the departmental budget and the plant’s energy budget, including preparation, monitoring of CAPEX/OPEX, analysis, cost‑reduction initiatives, and financial reporting.
- Supervise and oversee site investments not handled by engineering, ensuring correct execution, alignment with site needs, and adherence to standards.
What You'll Bring:
- A Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Several years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- High-analytical thinking with strong attention to detail.
- Fluent Dutch and English is a must.
