We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Plant Manager in Belgium. Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a large and complex plant platform ensuring operational safety, driving positive change initiatives while optimising efficiencies.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a plant platform, focusing on continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence

  • Champion rigorous Health & Safety standards ensuring the plant complies with the group safety policies

  • Manage and develop the plan teams through inspiring leadership enhancing employee engagement and elevating team performance

  • Drive a culture of operational excellence and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes

  • Manage diverse plant activities through subordinate department managers, including manufacturing, maintenance, quality, environmental, and logistics

  • Oversee local manufacturing and engineering projects

 

What you’ll bring:

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, display excellent safety behaviors and a deep technical and process understanding of manufacturing that focuses on the quality of products.

  • Master’s degree in engineering

  • Significant experience in Operations/Manufacturing process environment

  • Strong background in driving change and continuous improvement

  • Extensive People management experience within a manufacturing environment

  • Effective communication skills and  commitment to fostering a culture of employee engagement

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing

  • Excellent understanding of SAP manufacturing modules and other manufacturing digital solution tools and applications (Power BI, Power Apps, etc.)
