We are looking for a dynamic and solution-oriented manufacturing product manager to amplify our manufacturing products, services and projects. In this role, you will drive the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of digital manufacturing products – examples include MES system, S/4Hana, predictive and condition-based maintenance, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, IoT energy monitoring, Advanced Analytics & AI, and IT and OT convergences.


You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering, operations, cybersecurity and external partners to ensure our manufacturing products deliver measurable value, remain secure, and evolve with the needs of the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive and define the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle together with the divisional and central business stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements and prioritize the backlog based on value, risk, and operational impact
  • Champion innovation by leveraging AI to drive a data culture, unlock deeper insights across the production process, and increase efficiency within IT function
  • Ensure alignment with corporate strategy, sustainability goals, and regulatory requirements
  • End‑to‑end ownership of one or more product areas in manufacturing in the fields of Production, maintenance, energy, EH&S and/or IT/OT.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partner to ensure on‑time and in‑budget delivery.
  • Oversee and steer implementation, testing, deployment, change management, and user adoption.
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of manufacturing products.
  • Ensure patching, upgrades, lifecycle management, and security compliance processes exist and are executed by IT operations and OT teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and system performance, proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for your manufacturing products both at central and local level
  • Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and transform business challenges into solutions.
  • Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to leadership and user community.
  • Ensure all systems comply with cybersecurity standards, audit requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Maintain documentation, risk assessments, and change records.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Several years of experience in IT product management, IT project management, or comparable roles within complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing (process), business processes, across production and maintenance.
  • Experience or keen interest in working in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or OT‑heavy environments.
  • Solid knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity principles, and application lifecycle management
  • Familiar with SAP S/4HANA or ECC, particularly modules PM, PP and/or QM and open to dive deeper into the topic
  • Good understanding of SDLC, release management, and environment coordination.
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for continuous learning & improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities, able to turn complex challenges into pragmatic solutions.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with experience scaling Proofs of Concept into impactful, production‑ready solutions across large, global manufacturing landscapes (100+ sites).
  • Ability to lead, manage, and coach diverse, cross‑functional teams.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take end‑to‑end ownership.
