What You'll Do:

  • Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team (of software developers, system engineers, hardware engineers and other technical professionals).
  • Manage engineering projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
  • Develop and execute the technical vision and strategy in line with the business objectives.
  • Continuously search for opportunities to improve processes, technologies and systems.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies and methods to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (production, process,... engineering, construction, machine installation, IT, procurement and legal) to align engineering phase, construction phases, compliance, requirements, industrial processes and all assessments.
  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety and environmental standards, monitor progress and implement corrective actions to minimize risks, delays and costs.
  • Implement robust testing and quality control mechanisms to ensure the integrity of engineering solutions.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for other departments and external parties.
  • Project management/reporting: (daily/weekly) progress reporting, communication, CIC, budget, external reviews (Gates with ETEX PMO).
  • Translate technical concepts into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or other relevant field.
  • Several years of technical project management and people management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate across different levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on, pro-active attitude and solution driven mindset.
