Mission and Context

Guidance, coordination, logistical support and financial follow-up of technical projects in order to have them delivered within the set budget and term. Supporting project managers in the start-up of projects and follow-up from the study up to and including the realization of the projects.

Key roles and responsibilities

Project Management (60%)

* Assisting in the implementation of a new PM methodology * Assisting in defining, implementing and following up PM processes    * Follow up, tracking and reporting KPI's    * Communication with internal and external stakeholders. Support change management activities & people development     * Organize and follow up PM training 

Financial follow-up (20%)

* Support with and follow-up of the financial project progress, in particular invoicing settlement, progress statements, progress reports, diary of works, lost days, etc   * Purchasing of project related equipment in collaboration with the local or corporate purchasing department (C-projects)  * General CAPEX project administration      * Financial follow up of internal project proposals and invoicing (LOI, Mission, Passport). Follow up of invoices and management of legal documents. 

General project guidance and support (20%) 

 * In collaboration with Purchasing, monitoring the correct application of the procedures for tender files (including compliance with regulations and legal and operational deadlines).  * Methodical support for the filing of paper and electronic documents.   * Support and follow-up of the document exchange platform (MS teams).   * Follow-up and management of procedures specific to projects involving work in operational factories. 

Required Experience

Minimum experience within the field of expertise/management = 5 years

Competencies and skill requirements

Functional Knowledge : Daptive (or similar PPM tool), SAP, Powerpoint (highly skilled), MS project, sharepoint, Power BI, Office365 tools

Leadership : Independent and proactive, must be able to take initiative.   Ability to influence colleagues without positional power 

Problem Solving : Medium to high complexity 

Nature of impact :  Operational impact on the day-to-day activities of the engineering office.   Tactical : No Impact. Strategical impact : actively collaborating in shaping the PM methodology 

Business expertise : No business expertise of ETEX required.  Minimum of 3years experience working in a project management office preferably in a technical field (engineering environment) 

Area of Impact : Impact on the department of Etex Engineering and on the manufacturing community of Etex through the CAPEX projects

Interpersonal Skills : Stress resistant, managing deadlines, precise, correct and complete 

Required Education

Professional Bachelor (master preferred)
