As part of this commitment, the Etex Digital team is looking to extend their Quality Assurance capabilities.

The assignment is twofold;

 

  1. The Quality Assurance Professional will help to develop and execute the overall Quality Assurance strategy for our Digital products & solutions. He/she will drive Quality Assurance initiatives and process improvements to safeguard stability of the platforms and achieve high customer satisfaction.
  2. User Experience cannot go without Data Quality. Within the Content, PIM, DAM and Interfacing team we need to put in place guidelines and specific data quality processes as well as supporting the adoption of new data sets into the central PIM & DAM repositories.

 

 

Roles and responsibilities

  1. Improve, adopt, and maintain Quality Assurance process
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders (business, internal/external teams and IT) to enable a smooth-running quality process. This includes improving on existing technical quality gates (unit tests, regression tests, integration tests,…) but also business approval gates when delivering a feature or project.

 

  • Making sure the QA process is transparent to all stakeholders and that it is documented well.
  • Ensure embedding of QA processes end-to-end between Digital, IT and suppliers.
  • Implementation of (proactive) monitoring system on the most critical processes and this in close collaboration with IT.
  • Work closely with the SCRUM teams (internally or with partners) to identify points of improvement. Follow up on quality issues and formulate proposals on how to mitigate and prevent these from happening again.
  • You follow up on TEST activities and make sure teams are following test procedures
  • You report on the Quality Assurance process and evolution to both project management as regular updates to senior management.
  1. PIM & DAM Data Quality professional

 In extension of your Quality Assurance role, you will assist the team in working out Data Quality processes related to managing and uploading data into the PIM & DAM systems. You will assist (internal) companies in onboarding of (product and system) data sets into the same central PIM & DAM systems

  • You will report on data quality initiatives to stakeholders. You will propose changes to increase data quality & data deduplication
  • You will assist companies in translating local data sets into the central PIM and DAM data model. You are not afraid of manipulating large data sets when needed to fit into the central Etex data model.
  • You will need to get acquainted with the attributes and definitions of the Etex Product, System and Digital Asset data model. You will act as second line support towards internal customers on various PIM and DAM topics.
  • You will work closely with the SCRUM teams to make sure the necessary TEST data is available. You define with business stakeholders and Digital Product Owners the most relevant TEST data sets within the PIM and DAM systems to support the delivery of new functionality. The TEST data sets are a vital element in the Quality Assurance and User Acceptance TEST (UAT) processes.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Functional Knowledge and Skills

  • DevOps testing principles (CI, CD, Continuous Monitoring, Test Plans,..)
  • Application Insights or other monitoring platforms
  • Intermediate/Advanced MS Office Suite skills including Power Point, Excel, Access, Visio
  • PIM / DAM system (inRiver or others)

Language skills

 

English (Dutch, French or other languages are an asset)

 

Required education

 

Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent by experience
