Join us as a Strategic Buyer and help us drive operational excellence and safety while ensuring we procure the best quality materials at competitive prices.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the entire purchasing process for allocated projects, from technical clarification to contract negotiation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements and establish purchasing plans.

  • Execute and follow up on the strategic purchasing process for allocated structural building and asbestos-containing materials (ACM) projects.

  • Ensure all ACM procurement meets the highest safety standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Source high-quality materials for structural improvements, ensuring durability and safety.

  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers, focusing on achieving optimal terms and mitigating risks.

  • Prioritize sustainability and ethical sourcing, contributing significantly to our organization's sustainability goals.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience in purchasing within an industrial setting.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
