The Apprentice Engineer will work underneath the supervision of the engineering team to develop theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out CBM activities, electrical & mechanical fault finding, diagnosis, routine & reactive maintenance, testing and repair techniques
  • Full participation of the training program including the attendance of relevant courses to develop your proficiency & professional competence.
  • Taking ownership of your own development and demonstrate this through maintaining your workplace portfolio and college work logbook
  • Learn about the AM/PM process to cover all equipment across the site, including learning how defining, standardising and training Safe Systems Of Work (SSOW) & Standard Maintenance Procedures (SMP) affects the business strategy.
  • Participate in a learning role of equipment reliability plans that reduce the number of failures and minimises the effects of failures that do occur.
  • Learn about & support the Cost Deployment process through cost effective project participation that will deliver performance and financially driven projects that will form the Capex Road Map for the site.

 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 4 or more GCSE Grades 9-4/A*-C or equivalent, to include: English Language, English Literature, Maths, and Science.
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious with a strong eagerness to learn.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Punctual, organized, and committed to high-quality work delivery.
