The Environmental Health & Safety Manager (EHS Manager) takes a lead role on all matters of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance for the Ferrybridge operational site, promoting a zero harm culture.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage key EHS processes to ensure smooth and safe operations for all team members.
  • Support the Plant Manager & UK EHS Manager to ensure complete site compliance with all UK law and statutes, EHS best practices, and site permit requirements.
  • Identify and assess ways of simplifying and improving EHS onsite.
  • Manage the upkeep of EHS improvement plans, the occupational health and safety management system, and any EHS requirements and related data.
  • Develop training materials and support programmes that improve EHS Competencies.
     

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrable experience in a role accountable for EHS compliance within the Manufacturing Industry.
  • Completion of a NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with all levels of associates.
  • Project management experience and the ability to work effectively against SOPs.
