The Administrative Assistant (Manufacturing) is a critical role for the operation of the manufacturing department. This position ensures efficient communication and coordination throughout the manufacturing process by liaising with Production, Logistics, Safety, and Quality Control.
 

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a central point of contact between different departments within the manufacturing team, and facilitate effective communication to ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed about production schedules, changes, and updates.
  • Provide administrative support for manufacturing meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
  • Participate in Health & Safety discussions and carry out safety walks to report on the H&S app.
  • Assist in tracking sickness and attendance, provide training, and assist with any ad hoc HR tasks.
  • Monitor the switchboard and direct calls to the appropriate parties.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Relevant experience in an administrative or equivalent role.
    Demonstrable understanding of health and safety responsibilities in a production environment.
    Strong communication skills with the ability to priotitise tasks without direction.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT skills.
    Experience within Manufacturing or HR is preferred but not required.
