National Account Manager - North

What you’ll do:

• Region – North & Scotland (Birmingham upwards, including North Wales)
(Principal contacts at all merchants within Buying Groups, plus Area/Regional Director level across the nationals)

• Manage a small, high-performing Regional Merchant team – 2 direct reports

• Own and deliver divisional sales targets and budgets, driving commercial success across the region

• Represent Etex at conferences, quarterly reviews, and national meetings, strengthening our presence and building strategic partnerships

• Travel across the region, with occasional national and international travel as required to support key accounts and business initiatives

What you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in Account Management and Business Development, with proven commercial success.
  • A well‑established reputation in the marketplace and the ability to build strong relationships and networks.
  • Strong B2B sales experience within a distribution‑focused environment, including team leadership.
  • Experience managing a full project sales cycle with varied customer needs.
  • Solid technical understanding of building construction, building regulations, and drylining systems.
  • Ability to lead through change, think strategically, and influence at all levels.
