Regional LATAM Continuous Improvement and TPM Manager

This is an individual contributor role within the Continuous Improvement team that plays a critical part in ensuring the deployment of the CI culture and of the Total Productive Maintenance pillar of Etex Production System in the factories of the group. This role will support the Region Head of Operational Excellence in enforcing change management within the group. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Operational Excellence: Act as the ambassador for operational excellence initiatives, promoting cooperation and deploying the Etex Production System across the region helping us achieve world-class manufacturing standards ensuring its alignment with our values.
  • Engagement and Autonomy: Support the development of behavioral programs to enhance team autonomy and operational excellence in Latam plants.
  • Maintenance Model: Establish a robust maintenance model base on a strong influence to the different levels of the Latam plants, fostering autonomy and competence in maintenance and production, production ownership, and reliability aligned with the Group’s vision and Factory of Tomorrow goals.
  • TPM Roadmaps: Lead the deployment of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) roadmaps, including Autonomous Maintenance, Early Equipment Management, and Problem-solving techniques, aiming to boost engagement and achieve cost savings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with area leaders and plant managers to align projects with regional priorities and facilitate the implementation of techniques.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ensure local continuous improvement managers develop necessary competencies and autonomy through individualized performance plans.
  • Leadership in Improvement Projects: Lead on or two transversal improvement projects per year with a focus on EHS, quality, customer service, engagement, or COGS saving above 200 K€..
  • Functional Leadership: Develop and lead the local Continuous Improvement Network to meet plant performance goals.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Completed bachelors Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Focus on constantly improving agility, time delivery and value generation of any projects thriving. 
  • Experience in the implementation of operational excellence in matrix organizations with similar structures to our groups divisions. 
  • Lean experience and strong understanding of Lean and 6 – Sigma concepts, with strong problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Previous leadership experience in field operations. 
  • Experience influencing, negotiating and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Fluent English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus. 
  • Availability to travel to the different Latam Plants
