What you'll do

In this exciting, newly created career opportunity, you will support the executive team with key financial information and meaningful analysis, driving a culture of accountability in managing the business, adding value to operating businesses and voicing well-substantiated opinions.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide commercial insights that emphasise the impact on bottom line performance, working capital and shareholder value
- Navigate complex data and provide analytics and predictive scenarios that drive action and decision-making
- Drive business initiatives across pricing, supplier income and rebates, brand penetration, margin improvement and price & mix analysis
- Provide commercial support for cost benefit analysis and onboarding of new products
- Plan, direct and coordinate the planning and preparation of annual and longer-term capital and operating budgets
- Effective and continuous improvement leadership of “best practice” in all areas of the processes related to the services supplied by the Finance function
What you'll bring
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting or related discipline with CA / CPA qualifications
- Previous experience in Big 4 professional services firm would be highly regarded
- Driven, critical thinker and collaborative leader
- Track record in improving business results, processes and elevating business partnering
- Ability and ambition to move up another couple levels in the organization
- 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably a multinational company
- Strong analytical skills with good communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and ability to provide relative actionable insights
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles
- Providing leadership to organizstions within a manufacturing operation planning, savings, forecasting and investment analysis
- High attention to detail, Strong influencing skills and ability to use inquiry and advocacy to bring stakeholders to the desired decisions, in a win-win approach
- Passionate, empathetic personality, articulate and approachable
- Strong people skills to consult constructively with stakeholders
