What you'll do

In this exciting, newly created career opportunity, you will support the executive team with key financial information and meaningful analysis, driving a culture of accountability in managing the business, adding value to operating businesses and voicing well-substantiated opinions.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide commercial insights that emphasise the impact on bottom line performance, working capital and shareholder value
• Navigate complex data and provide analytics and predictive scenarios that drive action and decision-making
• Drive business initiatives across pricing, supplier income and rebates, brand penetration, margin improvement and price & mix analysis
• Provide commercial support for cost benefit analysis and onboarding of new products
• Plan, direct and coordinate the planning and preparation of annual and longer-term capital and operating budgets
• Effective and continuous improvement leadership of “best practice” in all areas of the processes related to the services supplied by the Finance function

What you'll bring

• Master’s degree in finance, Accounting or related discipline with CA / CPA qualifications
• Previous experience in Big 4 professional services firm would be highly regarded
• Driven, critical thinker and collaborative leader
• Track record in improving business results, processes and elevating business partnering
• Ability and ambition to move up another couple levels in the organization
• 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably a multinational company
• Strong analytical skills with good communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and ability to provide relative actionable insights
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability accompanied by knowledge of corporate finance and manufacturing costing principles
• Providing leadership to organizstions within a manufacturing operation planning, savings, forecasting and investment analysis
• High attention to detail, Strong influencing skills and ability to use inquiry and advocacy to bring stakeholders to the desired decisions, in a win-win approach
• Passionate, empathetic personality, articulate and approachable
• Strong people skills to consult constructively with stakeholders
