In Australia & New Zealand, more than 600 teammates bring this purpose to life. As we evolve, grow and continue strengthening our presence across multiple businesses and industries, we are seeking a strategic and people‑led HR Director to help shape the organisation of tomorrow.

This is a rare chance to step into a role with both immediate influence and long-term impact — within a global company that puts people at the centre of everything.

What you'll do

This is not a traditional corporate HR position — it is a hand-on HR Leadership and true business partnership role, working directly with the Country Leadership Team to design, shape and enable a high‑performing, values‑driven organisation.

You will work across multiple businesses, partnering with senior leaders to strengthen culture, uplift capability, and ensure we have the talent, structures and mindset to grow. In a company that empowers proactive people, you will have the freedom to innovate, lead and influence — with the support of a global network behind you. This is the perfect opportunity for a senior HR leader who wants to make a meaningful difference and guide an organisation through its next chapter.

In addition, this role requires someone who is savvy and deeply knowledgeable in Industrial Relations within the Australian context, and who is comfortable taking on handson, transactional HR matters while also leading a small HR team alongside the strategic components HR Leadership.

Key responsibilities:

  • Shape and execute HR, Talent, and L&D strategies that align with global direction and local business needs.
  • Strengthen a culture grounded in excellence, care and collaboration.
  • Coach and influence senior leaders, supporting them to build confident, future‑ready teams.
  • Partner with executives to design agile structures and build the capabilities needed for growth.
  • Lead strategic and tactical Industrial Relations across Australia and New Zealand
  • Lead succession, talent management and leadership development across multiple divisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process harmonisation and high‑quality people operations.
  • Ensure the HR function operates with integrity, precision and a human‑centred approach.
  • Inspire, mentor and develop a team of HR professionals who reflect our EVP in their daily work — precise in their thinking, personal in their interactions, and positive in their impact.

What you'll bring

You are an experienced senior HR leader who thrives in complex, multi‑business environments. You bring strong capability across organisational development, transformation, talent, and stakeholder leadership, paired with a people‑first mindset and a collaborative, grounded style.

You are curious, proactive and energised by environments where change is embraced and purpose drives action. You inspire confidence, build strong relationships, and help others see what’s possible.

  • Degree in Industrial Relations, Business Management or Human Resources
  • Senior HR leader with experience in complex, multi-business environments, ideally manufacturing or logistics
  • Strong expertise in industrial relations, talent management and organisational change
  • Proven people leader with a collaborative, values-driven approach
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach senior leaders
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer needs and satisfaction
  • Possesses excellent strategic business acumen
  • Exhibits strong analytical capabilities with the ability to think broadly and holistically
