Summary

This is an exciting career opportunity for a technically minded Building Products Specialist to join our team in Matraville. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, supporting customers, and contributing to the development of innovative building systems.

 

You’ll work closely with our Technical Services Manager, manufacturing teams, sales teams and industry stakeholders to ensure our products and systems meet the highest standards of performance, compliance and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

  • Providing technical support for Siniat’s full range of products and systems
  • Developing a strong understanding of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
  • Supporting product and system development, including certification and regulatory compliance
  • Working with manufacturing teams to identify and improve product performance
  • Delivering technical training to internal teams and external partners
  • Conducting site inspections and resolving field disputes
  • Preparing and maintaining technical literature and construction documentation
  • Assisting Sales with technical input for project proposals
  • Representing Siniat at conferences, technical exchanges, and industry events
  • Ensuring all technical communication is accurate and compliant to protect the business from misinterpretation or misrepresentation

What you'll bring

You’re a proactive problem‑solver who enjoys technical detail and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’re comfortable engaging with customers, installers, builders, architects, and consultants, and you take pride in delivering high‑quality, accurate technical advice.

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage product and system development projects
  • Proficiency in MS Suite and ideally Auto CAS and /or Adobe Illustrator or similar
  • Strong customer‑facing skills with the ability to resolve technical issues
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical information and propose solutions
