Business Development Manager - Facades

FSi is celebrating one year with Etex and already the Measham operations near Swadlincote, Burton and Tamworth are growing. We produce built-in fire protection, which prevents smoke and fire from travelling freely through buildings using our ‘Leave No Gaps’ products and systems.

Due to the continued growth within the Façade sector, we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager within our expanding global Façade team primarily within the UK market. 

FSi is a long-established and well-respected manufacturer of Passive Fire Protection products and solutions. We specialise in fire protection solutions within the facade and building envelope sectors and Built-In Fire Protection systems. We operate across numerous market sectors within the UK and overseas. 

This newly created role will suit a dynamic, ambitious, construction industry professional with established links into the specification, building envelope and façade contractor sectors. 
 

Your Role:

This position will be based from home as it covers a national remit, therefore you will be required to travel across the UK and Ireland primarily, with some international travel expected (not frequent). You can be based anywhere in the UK and will complete above 8000 business miles a year to meet with customers, contractors and specifiers. Some of your duties will include:

- Achieving financial targets to ensure positive sales revenues are achieved for new business development 

- You will keep yourself up-to-date with technologies to better support the business goals and conduct CPD seminars to ensure key stakeholders are informed about the benefits of our products and systems

- To collaborate with teammates and colleagues within the Etex family to ensure cross-selling opportunities and commercial leads are maximised

 

 

You:

This is a new role to support the growth ambitions for the facades sector of FSi and will support the Key Strategic Indicators (KSI's). You will be instrumental in driving this business activity and creating the demand for products within this portfolio. 

- You will need to have experience of working within the facades environment, and fire protection is desirable

- Project management experience is required to manage the different customers

- Strong influencing skills to ensure completion of contract agreements as well as negotiating skills

- Strong sales and commercial background with high levels of numerical understanding

- Good computer and communication skills to deliver compelling business cases and propositions

- Results driven

- UK driving licence
