Facilities and Engineering Technician

You will report directly into the Engineering and Facilities Manager and will be responsible for all site services and maintenance. This will be a key role for the site, and you will play an integral part of the maintenance team.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Work with contractor managers to ensure a high efficiency from their staff on site, maximising HoTT
  • Weekly tests of fire alarm system and Fire system management from fault finding through to servicing
  • Operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plant in conjunction with production team
  • Work with the Supply Chain Team to maintain a safe and clean site for FLT operations and goods suppliers
  • Maintain internal and external lighting including emergency light testing and changing of fittings
  • Drive new ideas and continuous improvement to deliver a first-class service
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met for site services and that site services are properly maintained
  • Site PAT testing of electrical equipment and compliance
  • Care and maintenance of all site plumbing and building structure
  • Ensure that facilities meet government regulations, health and security standards and energy efficiency requirements.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Similar experience within a facilities/site services role
  • Electrical knowledge and experience
  • LOTOTO experience
