 In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial performance and strategic direction of the business. This is a key leadership position within the company, offering an exciting opportunity to shape our future growth and profitability.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager, providing financial insights and facilitating productive business discussions.
  • Oversee the finance function within the legal entity, ensuring compliance with internal control policies and effective financial governance.
  • Be an active member of the local leadership team, contributing to strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Coordinate and drive strategic discussions with the Division, identifying growth initiatives and performance improvement measures.
  • Monitor and improve P&L and balance sheet performance, with a focus on commercial profitability, overheads, and recurring free cash flow.
  • Support commercial decision-making and negotiations for key matters from both a customer and supplier perspective.
  • Play a key role in the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process by providing detailed financial analysis.
  • Drive a performance-oriented culture within operations, analysing and addressing variances in a standard costing environment.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including Group reporting, while providing forward-looking financial insights to drive performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with Etex Business Services teams in Europe and the UK, particularly in the context of the new SAP ERP implementation.
  • Lead the finance team, fostering talent development, effective performance management, and creating meaningful personal development plans for team members.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with several years of relevant experience in finance, including business partnering, driving profitability, and overseeing P&L and balance sheet performance.
  • Pragmatic, results-driven approach with an analytical mindset to monitor performance and support strategic decision-makers.
  • Proactive problem solver with a forward-thinking approach to identifying challenges and implementing measures to enhance performance.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience acting as a trusted advisor and participating in local leadership teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP is a must
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
