Are you ready to lead and inspire in a fast-paced, innovative environment? We’re looking for a driven Production Manager who thrives on overcoming challenges and driving operational excellence.

You will be responsible for the management of factory production operations in order to meet planned deadlines, ensuring teams are aligned and motivated to deliver projects on time and to the required quality standards.  

 

What you’ll do:

  • Deputizing for Plant Manager where required.
  • Management of production area, assisting Plant Manager in delivery of projects against the project plan.
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational targets.
  • Develop and provide daily reports of factory operations to SLTs.
  • Create and issue daily tasks and targets and monitor team progress against these targets.
  • Ensure decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receiving guidance from senior manager where required.
  • First and second line team management including conflict resolution, team behaviors and minor disciplinary matters.
  • Identify operator training requirements to ensure adequate manning levels are achieved in order to meet project targets, including recruitment of new employees where required.
  • Attend joint operations meetings with other Remagin factories, contributing to building a culture of sharing best practice.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with all support departments, particularly design and contracts departments to ensure projects can be delivered.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement activities and discussions and implement identified improvements.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Ability to strategically manage operations for maximum effectiveness and project delivery.
  • Management/supervisory experience in production/manufacturing demonstrating strong leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrable understanding of health and safety responsibilities in the production environment.
  • An understanding of lean manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills - engages team and peer groups.
