Are you looking for a role where you can make a real impact across our operations? In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in supporting and further developing all aspects of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QEHS) throughout our organisation. Your expertise will help foster a sustainable culture of improvement, ensuring our site teams consistently meet business objectives, uphold rigorous standards, and comply with all legal requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and promote QEHS practices, driving continuous improvement across all sites.
  • Foster a positive safety, environmental, and quality culture through visible leadership and sharing best practices.
  • Ensure alignment with business goals, standards, and legal requirements, delivering measurable improvements.
  • Advise management on legal and industry standards, maintaining audit readiness and compliance at all times.
  • Develop and manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and guarantee compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits, including coordination with external certification bodies.
  • Create and update QEHS improvement plans, assess audit findings, and implement action plans to address risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and initiate preventive measures to maintain safety and environmental standards.
  • Prepare, revise, and communicate EHS instructions and procedures; drive relevant training and support accident reporting.
  • Monitor performance targets, report progress in meetings, and contribute to QEHS forums and committees.
  • Lead and support customer and supplier audits, ensuring quality requirements are met across all operations.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, workplace organisation) and provide training/coaching to staff.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in occupational safety, quality management, or continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of Bulgarian occupational health and safety law and international standards such as ISO 45001
  • Proven hands-on experience in problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with continuous improvement (CI) methods and systems like Lean, Kaizen, or CPM
  • Strong leadership abilities and teamwork skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • High level of initiative, proactive mindset, and confident communication at all organizational levels.
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
